I would like to take a moment to welcome you to the Country
Oil Family. We have enjoyed a wonderful experience serving
the people of Franklin County, Southern Vermont, and
Southern New Hampshire. Located in Bernardston,
Massachusetts, Country Oil was founded in 1986 and has
dedicated itself to providing the best possible service to all of
our customers. We pride ourselves on being friendly,
courteous and as helpful as possible.
Since 1986 we have continually improved our operating
ability. The addition of a complete heating department in
1990 as well as establishing a plumbing department in 1993,
gave us the ability to provide complete service to all of our
customers. In 1995 we built a new bulk facility to handle our
expansion. In 2002 we completed our new office, allowing us
to consolidate operations at one convenient location.
In January 2008, I had the distinct honor of becoming the
second President of Country Oil Inc., while my
Brother-In-Law, Daniel Rameau Sr., assumed the role of Vice
President. John Cormier, founder of Country Oil, is carrying
on a family tradition that is generations old, by passing on the
family business to the next generation. We have made a
commitment to continue to run Country Oil based on the old
fashioned values John has instilled in us all.
We will continue to improve our operations in the years to
come. It is our goal to make your business experience with
our company a pleasant and comfortable relationship. We
strive to treat our customers as we like to be treated ourselves.
